Meet the faces of Studio 1108, living and serving inside Townsite Tower in Downtown Topeka. In their own words, owners and founders Joy Bishop and Monica Fowler have cultivated “A community of wholesome, mindful & energizing practices for all.” According to these professional healers and business partners, “Studio 1108 revolves around sharing our best with the world around us.”
Individually, Monica is an accredited healing arts practitioner inspired by emotional and spiritual development through the Integrated Process Technique. She also holds prestigious certifications in Reiki and hosts her weekly Sound Bathing sessions in-studio. We tried her Wednesday sound bathing session and loved it. Whereas Joy is a devoted grief therapist and author of her guide to grief titled “My Gift to You” available on Amazon. Through counseling sessions and her writing, Joy’s practice helps individuals embrace tough conversations and navigate loss. Joy believes we can “discover compassion, meaning, and hope—even in life’s darkest moments.”
Together, they rent out their large studio space and work with several other certified specialists in practices such as Art Therapy, Yoga, Fitness, and more, to form a unique resource hub in their office, located at 534 S Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS, Suite 1108.
